When a coveted make-up artist, who perfects the face of one of the most famous and socially present celebs, releases their very own eye-shadow palette you panic buy it alongside a few other bits in a late night Sephora order. That’s right, if you hadn’t heard by now Mario Dedivanovic (aka the guy behind KKW’s face) has teamed up with Anastasia Beverly Hills to bring you the Master Palette by Mario. Comprising of twelve incredibly buttery shadows that range from nudes through to a surprising khaki green, you get a versatile palette that can be used from day to night or even to create a glammed up smokey eye.

After I created my own Anastasia quad back in August, I instantly fell in love with the pigmented and rich colours each shadow had. Considering I had only known the brand for their brow products or sculpting palettes, I was left pleasantly surprised by how good their shadows were. Therefore, imagine my shock and sheer delight when I spied the Mario palette. As I’m sure you can imagine it didn’t take much persuading to press the ‘add to cart’ button ;)

Personally, for me some of the shadows are a tad on the warm side and the buttery formula can result in fallout from the pan, but it’s all worth it for the gorgeous array of shades and long lasting staying power. Fave so far are Paris, Marina and 5th Ave with Lula being that perfect matte crease shadow.

Needless to say, when browsing  the Sephora website it’s pretty impossible to click ‘checkout’ with just a single item in your basket. I like to tell myself it’s all for the a cheaper delivery fee but really I just get sucked in to all the glorious items! To bulk up this order I snapped up the Sephora Collection Pro Brow Brush #20 and also the cult IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC++ Cream with SPF 50+.

I’ve been wanting to get my hands on this It Cosmetics base for a while but struggled to find my shade in stock. Luckily, Sephora must have heard my make-up cries as they now stock this hugely popular brand and had my shade Fair in stock. First impressions, you get some impressive coverage whilst still looking natural on the skin. It does has a tendency to smell like cleaning products that may just be me however and I’ve found this applies better with my hands as opposed to a brush. Fair is the right match to my natural skin tone but gotta admit I am missing that golden glow!

Have you tried any of the products I’ve picked up? Were you caught up in the Mario Palette hype?
