The Beauty Bay Haul

In anticipation of my upcoming holiday I headed over to Beauty Bay to browse the fab brands they have stocked. I had one product in mind that I needed to repurchase, the rest were just collateral damage ;) What I love about Beauty Bay is not only do you get free worldwide delivery, you also get access to some pretty fab US brands that normally would incur a pretty high customs charge if you were to purchase directly.

Alongside the US brands, Beauty Bay also stocks Paul & Joe aka the brand that created my all time favourite liner. Back in their 2013 collection, the True Black Liquid Eyeliner was born and it is seriously the best eyeliner I’ve ever used. It’s got a fine nib that is flexible, delivers jet black colour all without dragging the eye and helps me create a flick even though I’m an eyeliner noob. I’m now onto my third pen and although I’ve tried a number of liners over the years, nothing compares.

Next came a spot of holiday based shopping. With some glam nights out on the cards I knew I wanted to pick up some shadows that packed a bit more of a punch when it came to the glitter department. For this I headed to Makeup Geek and specifically their Foiled Eyeshadow Pans. From the swatches I could see these things were pigmented and I chose Flame Thrower the rich russet colour and Houdini which is an incredible bold blue. The swatches are just a single application, like I said, these shadows are packed full of pigment!

Finally I couldn’t resist an addition to my matte liquid lipstick collection. I’ve heard some good things about the brand Coloured Raine so snapped up their Matte Liquid Paint in the shade 24Seven. I’ve got to say this is one of the longest lasting matte liquid formulas I have tried, each time I looked in the mirror thought the day there was the same strong pigment staring back at me. Formula wise this dries down to a rich berry nude, slightly darker than I anticipated but still super pretty.
