Top Products from L’Oreal

top products from l'oreal

When I was having a good old rummage through my beauty drawers the other day it dawned on me that I have quite a lotta stuff from L’Oreal. Usually with brands I’ll pick out a product I love, for example their lipstick lineup, or their buttery shadows, and stock up. However it’s rare for me to own such a cross-section of products from one specific brand. For me to have foundation, gloss, shadow and more from this drugstore mecca, it warranted it’s own dedicated blog post to share the news. Not only that, it’s a good excuse to shine a much deserved spotlight on one of my favourite budget beauty brands.

Base – it’s no surprise that the True Match foundation is making an appearance here. The old formula stole my heart so I stepped with trepidation when I saw a new bottle & a new formula in stores. Luckily, I love it, and it’s one of my most used everyday bases. A more recent favourite that I’ve been loving is the Sculpt Contour Palette. Mentioned in my latest video which is a first impressions of the range check it out here I’ve been loving the contour shade especially to add definition and shape to my big old round face. The colour looks a tad scary in the pan but it blends out a dream and looks super natural on the skin.

Shadow – one of my most used daily shadows has to be the Colour Riche Eyeshadow in 200 Nude. A simply gorgeous bronzed up brown shade you also get a hint of shimmer that reflects in the sunshine. Worn alone or blended out in the corner to smoke out an everyday look, these don’t crease throughout the day and are a dream to apply.

Lips – again, no surprises here that I still love the Julianne’s Nude from the Colour Riche Exclusive Nudes Collection. It’s the perfect everyday pink and the formula gives a great hydrating kick to your lips. Alongside the lippy I’m also a fan of their Infallible Mega Gloss in the shade Protest Queen. Still an awful name however it’s one of those rare drugstore glosses that isn’t thick, isn’t gloppy and doesn’t result in all your hair sticking to your lips. I love layering this gloss over a lipstick to give a shine that doesn’t a pretty decent job of staying around on your lips.

What products from L’Oreal do you love? Cant’ forget their Infallible Fixing Mist which I’ve almost used up! One of the best fixing sprays I’ve tried that locks everything in place without leaving my skin feeling like it’s just been doused by a garden hose. Win!
