It’s been a while since I’ve found some seriously good drugstore products to incorporate into my base makeup. Mascara – yes. Shadows – all the time. But base products? That’s where I become picky, fussy and highly demanding making it tricky for those drugstore offerings to meet my extensive wish list. However, after a weekend involving a casual peruse in Superdrug as you do I stumbled across these two additions sporting that new label from Bourjois. One is a foundation, the other a concealer but both are part of the brands popular range of bases & CC creams. Now you’ve got two new additions that deliver on the more glowy side of the spectrum. Perfect considering we can finally start to look towards Spring and those blissful warmer days!

First up to bat was the City Radiance Foundation. With an impressive hit of SPF 30 alongside being available in six shades, this promises to combine radiance boosting pigments to give you that glow from noon to night. Application wise I found forgoing brushes worked best here, the formula sits a little heavy so I needed the warmth of my hands to smooth things over. As you can see from the pictures coverage isn’t high, areas of redness still show through however it does provide an even base. Personally, because of the thicker formula it’s not something I would reach for everyday and instead would recommend this for those with normal to combination skin types. I also got the shade Vanilla which was a fab match!

Now we have a new concealer aka the Radiance Reveal Concealer. This gets an OBSESSED from me in true P’Trique form. Super creamy, cooling when applied with the smallest amount going a serious long way. I’ve been using this under my eyes to conceal and brighten in one as boy does it deliver! Those dark under eye circles are banished and left behind is a more perfected and brightened finish. Picking up the lightest shade of the three available fingers crossed for more! I’ve used it in my GRWM video that is live today so head over to my channel to see it in action.
