Testing Out Mini CT

When a new beauty brand comes onto the market I’m sure I’m not the only one eager to dip their toes in to see what all the fuss is about. I challenge someone to step forward who doesn’t love putting new and shiny things to the test! The only problem – the price. Sadly not everybody has a unlimited bank of funds when it comes to new beauty launches surely there should be some kind of government grant for this I mean we’re just helping out the greater good and all ;) Back when Charlotte Tilbury arrived the world applauded and since, a number of new products have launched to high acclaim. To top that off CT had an advent calendar packed full of minis ready and waiting to be put to the test. Let’s jump in!

Wonder Glow – aka the instant soft focus beauty flash primer. A lightweight formula delivering a pearlescent finish you get radiance, hydration and luminosity from a single application. The product itself is ever so slightly tinted, almost a dark milky pink which buffs away when applied. Tired skin is given an almighty awakening boost whilst fine lines are softly blurred away. Perfect for those lacklustre mornings when you need that extra kick to help get you out of bed.

Super Model Body – I’m sorry a tube that will sculpt and shape my body into that of a super model? Okay I’m in. Jokes aside get ready to hit those sun loungers with bronzed up pins that will  glimmer in the sunlight. Similar to the Wonder Glow here you get a pearlescent cream with a slightly warmer undertone to counteract our pale winter’s skin. It catches the light in all the right places to give your limbs that sculpted look which is in fact left over turkey excess. It holds more shimmer compared to the Wonder Glow meaning buffed into your legs you’ll get the illusion of more perfected pins. A little goes a long way and remember to wash your hands after application!

Multi-Miracle Glow Cleanser, Mask & Balm – all those words for just a single product! But you get just that, a cleanser to wash away your days makeup or leave on the skin for 10 minutes to utilise those mask properties. Personally I pass on the cleanser part, the floral fragrance too strong however for me however when it comes to the mask I’m on board. The thicker and slightly tacky consistence works in the products favour here to deliver a nourishing mask that rehydrates and plumps up the skin.

The Magic Cream – when CT first launched we were told all about her infamous Magic Cream that she used on clients & celebrities to create the perfect base pre-makeup. Back then the Magic Cream was merely an illusion, something you could read about but never touch. Needless to say CT delivered on her promise and now the world can get their hands on this wonder product. A cooling and lightweight cream you get a mix of anti ageing properties alongside hyaluronic acid & floral extracts. All geared towards transforming tired skin this is thee prep product to give you fabulous skin all day long. Does it live up to those claims? Personally I get the illuminating & hydrating properties however does this deliver magic? I’m on the fence. If you do however struggle with sallow skin, this paired with the Wonder Glow will boost your complexion come day or night.

Have you used any of these newer CT products? Which ones are your favourites?
