Let’s Talk Morphe

So – I’ve become addicted to Morphe Brushes. Honestly it was an accident, I just picked one up on a whim from Cult Beauty as it was cheap (seriously these brushes are incredible value for money!) as I just wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I mean, I knew it was gonna be good as come on, if they have Jaclyn Hill raving over them you know something good is going on. Needless to say from my single Pro Firm Blending Crease Brush M441 purchase I got hooked.

Next thing you know I was over on Beauty Bay pouring over their pages upon pages of Morphe Brushes curating a shopping bag that made my heart skip and beat and my bank balance faint in shock. My ‘reasoning’ behind this purchase was the fact I’m doing my friends makeup for her wedding eep, so obviously in order to do a good job I needed even more makeup brushes duh.

After whiting down my basket to the ‘essentials’ I was left with: Detail Contour Fluff Brush M556, Large Round Blender Brush M511, Point Blender Brush M505, Medium Shadow Fluff Brush M524, Jumbo Crease Brush M517 and the Pointed Mini Blender Brush M507. Even that impressive haul only just broke the £30 mark, told you these brushes were cheap! Not only that, the quality is shamze.

I’m talking soft, blendable, doesn’t shed, washes well, sturdy handle, shall I go on? My fave of the bunch is the Contour Fluff Brush which has become my new blusher BFF. It’s the perfect size to pop colour on to the apple of your cheeks whilst being fluffy enough to blend that colour out. The prize for second fave goes to the Jumbo Crease Brush which really packs that colour on. I’ve also used this in todays everyday makeup routine video as I find it creates a flawless look in seconds. Guys, it’s official, I am a Morphe fan girl and I am 100% okay with this new title ;)
