Last night marked the social event of the work calendar, the Christmas party. A chance for the company to say thank you for all the hard work during 2015 and for us to let our hair down, tear up the dance floor and celebrate the fact that the holidays are oh so nearly here. The shindig was held over at Proud in Camden and resulted in us leaving with around 50 photo boot print outs, 5 live gif videos and very sore feet. Tonight is another round of Christmas drinks and tomorrow will be dedicated to Rod Stewart’s Christmas album and wrapping presents. Remind me why I didn’t book next week off?!

This Week I’ve Been…

Picking out the tree – one of our festive traditions is the purchasing of the tree. My dad and I go to the same place, venture out in gloves and boots ready to wade into the selection and find one that is just right. This year we picked up Kevin, a strong tree with lots of space for baubles :)

Getting lost in the beauty of Fenwicks – does anyone else love to loose an afternoon pursing the aisles of a beauty hall? Fenwicks on Bond Street is my fave by far and even though I technically shouldn’t be treating myself, I can’ help but have a look!

Donning a festive manicure – it’s time to bring on the glitter and amp up the festive cheer. For a subtle take on a glitter manicure I paired my deep purple Maybelline polish with a chunky glitter from Topshop that got added to my ring fingers

Dressing up in copper – every year comes the tough decision of what theme to pick for the Christmas tree. We’ve done pink and purple, silver and purple, red but for this year’s festivities we opted for copper duh. Not only the best excuse to buy more decorations, it makes a gorgeous looking tree!
