Midweek Pamper

Ah that blissful midweek pamper. An illusive slot of time that ever since my return to London has fallen off the radar. Back in the day aka back in Bournemouth I would religiously down tools on a Wednesday evening, crack out a mask or three and indulge in some zen time. Not only did this allow for a midweek pick me up, it really transformed my skin. Incorporating a more stable routine when it came to masks meant that I was left with clear and happy skin that would keep blemishes at bay whilst retaining that luminosity from within.

Sadly coming back to London resulted in my time being snapped up with other priorities *cough* Geordie Shore. Those midweek pamper moments quickly disappeared from my routine and my skin suffered as a result. Determined to seize back some ‘me’ time I’m reigniting the midweek pamper! Disclaimer, I can’t promise that this will actually be a weekly occurrence however I can confirm the products listed will be the same ;)

A pamper time doesn’t count unless a bath is running with a bath bomb fizzing away. This rose Sex Bomb goody from Lush opens up all those fragrances that help to relax you and calm your state of mind. Dip your toe in, grab a book and relax just after you’ve poured in a capful of the Aromatherapy Associates Deep Relax Bath & Shower Oil* for some serious pamper time.

For skin I go in with two masks, one to combat those impurities and another to hydrate. No surprises here as two of my fave masks get called into action, when you see Aesop & Antipodes on the menu you know you’re in for some serious TLC time. The Aesop Chamomile Concentrate Anti Blemish Masque is a classic that gives you that charcoal mask finish without drying out your skin. To ensure those moisture levels are left topped up to the max level I go in with the Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask as not only does it smell like a lukazade tablet (anyone else remember those?) it does wonders for your skin.

All this pamper talk has left me dreaming of a bath this evening where I can unwind and take some chill time to read my book. Anyone else a fan of a midweek pamper pick me up?
