Over the past two years whilst that temperature dial starts to fall and people begin to declare their love for the Autumnal season, I’ve raved on about purple lips. Being unable to rock a red on the daily I branched out into the berry tones and haven’t looked back since. Whether it’s purple, wine, berry, plum even violet you can count me as a fan as I love to rock those darker tones on my lips come day or night.
Luckily the berry love doesn’t end there, oh no it extends down to my hands. New in to bling up my manicure is the Maybelline Super Stay Gel Nail Colour in 05 Extreme Blackcurrant. I’ve raved about this formula of polish in the past with the shades Surreal, Hot Salsa and Mint for Life already strong contenders in my collection. The anti chip formula gives a long lasting manicure that can be achieved easily in two coats thanks to wide brush you get inside.
Extreme Blackcurrant is everything you want in a dark coloured polish, super opaque finish with a shine on top without the need for a top coat. Depending on the light this can vary between shades of berry or even black however you can’t deny it’s a beaut. One of my fav colours to wear on my nails (apart from mint green obvs) and I can see this getting a lotta use in the cooler seasons.
