Oh what a week. What a glorious, shamazing yes I went there week. This marks the third time I’ve been to Dubai, first time however that I’ve stayed for an entire week and first time I’ve not stayed in a hotel. Instead I was incredibly lucky to be put up in my friends apartment whilst she was on holiday, call it super cool house sitting shall we ;) With a balcony overlooking the high rise buildings & a pool on site I can honestly say I’ll be happy to house sit anytime! I won’t go into too much detail about the past seven days thats going to be saved for tomorrows post however I will share my Instagram snaps from the week :)

This Week I’ve Been…

Evening beauty picks – whilst being away my makeup routine has become stripped back to the essentials, when you know you are heading out for the Cheesecake Factory the last thing you want to do is spend half an hour applying makeup! A fuss free base, bronzer and a bold lip has been my go to combination

Sephora with a view – being a beauty addict I’ve been to my fair share of Sephoras. My top stores have been the gigantic ones in Union Square New York and the Venetian on the Vegas Strip. This week I found myself in a store that looked out over the Dubai Marina – beaut!

Brunch dreams – when in Dubai you do brunch. It’s a Friday tradition here and they go all out, I’m talking elaborate buffets, unlimited champers, the works. Yesterday mum and I headed to Nobu for their Friday brunch and oh baby was it good. Hello you beautiful black miso cod, yes I could have eaten 12 of you!

Kate Spade stationary – not only am I a fan of the gorgeous patterned bags, jewellery and iPad cases from Kate Spade, I am also hooked on their stationary collection. Only problem – near on impossible to get hold off. Imagine my sheer delight when I saw an entire stand dedicated to their stationary goodies in Bloomingdales the Dubai Mall. One of everything please ;)

Tom Ford gorgeousness – when in duty free you have to splurge, it’s like the pre holiday rules! For once I didn’t have a bulging wish list so instead indulged in a pretty luxury item, a eyeshadow quad from the man himself Tom Ford. All kinds of beauty these shadows are pure gorgeousness!

Posh pool time – not staying in a hotel meant the money that would have been spent on accommodation could be put towards activities and days out. One of those days out was a pool day at the One&Only aka posh pool time! So posh even someone came by to clean everyone’s sunglasses!
