It’s official, the seasons have changed. As much as I was holding onto that transitional period there is no denying it, it is cold! No surprises here a change in the seasons results in a change in our makeup routine. Without declaring that berries are back in, as they are with any Autumnal shift, I thought I would start my seasonal look with a palette. Not just any palette mind you, a pretty complete full to the brim makeup palette from one of my fav cosmetic brands – Tarte.

After a blissful Sunday perusing and ordering on everyone’s weak spot Sephora, I added this into my basket, the Tarte Light of the Party Collector’s Makeup Case aka everything you could ever need for an Autumnal/Winters/Party look! Packaging aside, as it’s nothing pretty, it’s the insides that count here. I’m talking 24 shadows, a mini mascara, brush AND removable kit that also includes 6 shadows, a blush and a bronzer. Impressive aye? Not just that, all the shades have been tailored for this change in the season with some gorgeous deep purples, navy options and a wide range of smokey browns ready and waiting for you to create your perfect look.

For my first instalment of my Autumnal makeup series I opted for smoked out wine/berry eye with a soft flush on the cheeks. For my eyes I went with Popcorn Strand all over the lid, blended Peach on Earth through my crease, added Fireside Chat to the lid & lower lash line before adding Mulberry & Bright into the outer corner. Dancer & Prancer was added to the inner corner for a bright pop and Sugar Cookie helped to neaten up my brown bone. Finally Hatue Chocolate was blended out across the lash line. Not only are the shadows super buttery and pigmented, I love the shade selection in the palette. Considering you get a mascara, blush, bronze & highlight thrown in too (that I’m also wearing in this look) I can see me picking this up throughout the upcoming cooler months to achieve a variety of different looks.
