It’s okay guys – before you start worrying about me uploading a summer look in September, Google has informed that we have until the 22nd of the month before autumn begins. Hallelujah! However try telling Mr Weatherman that as all we seem to be getting in London right now is rain, cold winds and cloudy skies. For the final instalment of the Summer Makeup Series I’ve gone for a transitional look, keeping a dewy and summery base however amping up the autumnal feeling with my eye shadow of choice.

Dewy base is all down to the Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Primer and Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturiser in 02*. Keeping the skin prepped, nourished and full of vitality. Bat away those imperfections with the hydrating Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Concealer and you are left with a perfected base that still boasts radiance. To bring the glow it had to be my new favourite, the Tom Ford Bronzing Powder in 02 Terra. Seriously, I can not get enough of this stuff! It leaves a gorgeous bronzed finish to the highpoints of my face that I paired with the Kat Von D Shade & Light Palette for a spot of contour.

Cheeks were kept soft and natural with a light dusting of the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Fearless*. Things didn’t end there, I simply couldn’t put a look together without adding the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Champagne Pop into the mix. #highlight on fleek fo sure. For the smokey lid I’m rocking it’s all thanks to the Glo & Ray Mousse Eye Shadow in Maroon Earth*. Already I’m hooked on this pot of dark bronzed up shadow that gives dimension and shape to the eye without the need to pair it with another colour. Long lasting and a dream to apply – what more could you need?!

Finally – lips. This is where I had to keep with the pretence of summer sun and opt for a glossy muted down bold coral lip. By going in with the Estee Lauder Pure Colour Envy in 320 Surreal Sun* I kept with the bold colour trend however toned it down by patting the lipstick into my lips. The glossy finish is all thanks to the Clarins Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector in 01* which helped to mute down the colour whilst giving a soft glossy finish to my lips. Summer isn’t over yet people!
