The Clarins Bronzing Duo

clarins bronzing duo

Although the weather has taken a bit of a nosedive in the UK – that doesn’t stop us from embracing that summers glow and getting our bronze on. Besides, sunbathing is so 2009, no one wants to risk the damage those harmful rays can cause to our precious skin! A few months ago Clarins brought out a glow lovers best friend, to join their already strong lineup of tanning and self tanning products, they hit the market with two radiance boosters. You have the Radiance Plus Golden-Glow Booster for your face and the Radiance Plus Golden-Glow Booster for Body.

Now it took me a little while to dive in and pick these up, yes I heard nothing but good things from fellow beauty bloggers but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to commit. Would I really use them? Do they actually work or will I have a flashback moment to the first time I used a spray permeant tan and looked like I had a skin disease for 2 weeks in the height of summer. Not fun people. I flitted around the idea of snapping them up until my mum flew out on holiday and kindly nabbed them for me in duty free. #win

I’ve been using them for the past couple of weeks not daily mind you and already I can report back good things. Let’s start body, 4-6 drops is all you need mixed in with your everyday moisturiser. I use this a couple of times a week when I have a bit more time in the mornings and not opting for a spray moisturiser. Already I can see a soft warmth of colour to my pasty pins that I can only attribute to this. No streak or odd colour in site and no tell tale signs left on my hands. I am impressed!

Next up – the face. Here you only need between 1-3 drops mixed in with your daily moisturiser (I prefer to apply it AM rather than PM) and after a couple of days you will notice a soft sun kissed glow. As I naturally wear bronzer everyday I haven’t noticed as much difference with the Radiance Booster for my face however the body one has been a saviour and is something I can see myself using throughout the summer and also something I will take on holiday to mix in with my aftersun to intensify my tan.
