fav masks

Sunday will forever be my pamper day. Although in the past it has crept into Friday and Saturday evenings, nothing beats a Sunday night of pampering to prep you ahead of the working week. Whether that be an indulgent bath, a couple of face masks or a DIY manicure, Sundays are the day to kick back, relax, and pamper yourself before that Monday morning alarm rolls round.

On these days for me it’s all about masks. Whether I go in with a triple threat facial or a quick mask before bed, I always like to pop on a luxury mask to give my skin that extra hit of TLC. Recently my go to bunch has experienced a bit of an overhaul. With the discovery of a few new favourites and a changing skin type that I’m still learning how to keep happy, I thought I would check in and run down the new batch of masks that get called to action once Sunday arrives.

No surprise here the Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask and Oskia Renaissance Mask make an appearance. I’ve been singing their praises over the past few months and they are still going strong when it comes to taking care of my skin. On those days when I’m battling breakouts or congestion I opt for the deep cleansing mask to draw out the nasties and leave me with a more balanced complexion. Looking for a boost of radiance? Step in the Oskia mask to help resurface the skin whilst giving back that glow to a lacklustre appearance.

New on the block is the Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Masque and Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask. Discovering a new mask is like finding gold, know you have a little pot of magic to help look after skin imperfections, it’s my favourite part of my skincare routine. For days when my cheeks may be a tad red or inflamed and sensitivity in running rife, I dab on the Cucumber Gel mask which instantly rebalances everything and reinstates the calm. My new all rounder is thanks to makeup guru CT. With a clay like finish, but with added hydration, your skin isn’t left feeling tight. It’s so good in fact I think I might start the pamper routine early and pop some on now ;)
