I love a skincare release – the promise of a new wonder product to resurface, enhance my complexion all whilst leaving your skin glowing with happiness, count me in! Although satisfied with my current routine, I can’t help myself from wanting to delve into the new items in the beauty world to suss out whether the marketing spiel really does speak the truth. Is this the next wonder product? What if the promise of hydrated skin really is better then what I’m currently using! The grass isn’t always greener so today I’m testing out a couple of new bits that I’ve added into my routine to see how they stand against my currently list of skincare demands.
PAI Copaiba Deep Cleanse AHA Mask* – I love me a good mask. Nothing better for detoxifying the skin, pulling out those nasty impurities whilst re-balancing any areas of imperfections. New onto the scene is the latest offerings from natural skincare brand PAI. With an AHA Mask and Rosehip Radiance Mask, both catered to those with sensitive skin, it’s even easier to keep those blemishes at bay. I’ve been giving the AHA mask a whirl and have fallen for it’s regenerative properties. With a concentrated AHA mixture to help unclog those pores, this helps to improve tone and texture for soft and supple skin. Not only that it’s soothing to apply whilst smelling scrumptious like a sweet.
Pestle & Mortar Pure Hyaluronic Serum* – considering I’m the new poster boy for serums, it’s only to be expected that I’ve given another newbie a try. Coming to us from a more unknown beauty and body wellness company, Pestle & Mortar is a family owned company from Ireland where their philosophy is centred around quality skin enhancing beauty. Their serum does just this, set out to hydrate and soothe the skin, radiance is restored whilst retaining that healthy glow throughout the day. Lightweight and non sticky formulas, the packing is super chic to showcase the fact the brand is 100% free of animal derived raw materials. So far I am impressed with what I’ve used and now even happier to have jumped on the serum bandwagon.
