Yup – that’s right. It’s April. No your eyes are not deceiving you and yes those past three months have passed you by in the blink of an eye. Shocking right. With the weeks flying by like hours I find myself neglecting the new instead reaching for the tried and tested. Although it may not make for an inspiring favourites it means that the products featured are long standing loves that I’ve been picking up for longer than the past four weeks.

Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kitit’s no secret that I love to contour. Shaping those non-existent cheek bones whilst giving dimension to my round face, it’s a must in my daily makeup routine. I’ve never been overly fancy with the products I use however the recent storm of ‘contour palette’ releases has grabbed my attention. Budget fav so far is this three shade offering for Barry M, helping to define those contours whilst still being pigmented and blendable in texture. Win win!

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gelsick of me talking about this wonder mask yet? Here goes another rave ;) Undeniably the best mask I’ve picked up recently it’s the only one I reached for all month and has simply stolen my attention. Not only that, it also leaves my skin looking pretty darn fantastic!

Tweezerman Combo Clipper Set in Black a slightly mundane feature here, it’s clippers. Really, worthy of a favourites mention? Hold onto your horses there cynical one as these make the dull task of nail clipping a quick and painless procedure. Sleek black in packaging with precision blades made from stainless steel, this helps me keep my manicures in tip top shape without all the faff.

Smashbox Full Exposure Eye Shadow Palette* – featuring in a recent Spring Makeup Look this palette has not just reignited my attention, it has also captured yours. Comprising of one of those perfectly put together mixes of nudes, mattes, shimmers and bolds you can create a multitude of wearable looks with ease. Not only that, the palette comes with a handy mirror and a double ended brush that is actually pretty decent – impressive aye ;)

Maybelline Dream Touch Lumi Concealer in 02 Nudealways fighting the battle against those dark circles under my eyes, I am forever getting drawn in by products promising to banish the unwanted darkness. New in the collection of power fighters is this addition for Maybelline, lightweight in texture this packs a punch in the coverage department whilst also balancing out the area to provide light and luminosity. All that for a budget friendly price!
