To get through the middle of the week and deal with the infamous hump day, it’s time to pull our sleeves up and wade through the brand new batch of makeup releases. As much as I rave over skincare and lust after texturising sprays, makeup is where my true love lies. From the packaging down to the formulas there is nothing like opening a brand new blush to discover what beauty sits waiting underneath. With a bevy of launches hitting counters across the UK I’ve popped the lot onto my eagerly awaiting face – all in the spirit of testing right!
Kicking things off with one of my favourite new launches it’s the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush Line*. Oh boy are these beautiful, with six shades to choose from each option knows how to illuminate the face whilst giving a flattering kiss of colour to the cheeks. The standout? 15 Seductive Pink and it’s what I’m wearing in the photos above. If you are looking for a tad more shimmer, dust on the gorgeous embossed Elizabeth Arden Sunkissed Pearls Bronzer and Highlighter in Warm Pearl 01*.
For eyes it’s all about the Elizabeth Arden Shadow Pencils*, Fresh Water Pearl 02 is basically All That Glitters but in pen form making application a doddle. I paired this with the Elizabeth Arden Sunkissed Pearls Gel Eye Liner Eyeliner Gel in Deep Sea Pearl 01* aka the only liner I’ve used that glides on like silk. Buffing out the edges with a dense shadow brush gives a soft smokey look to the eyes and thanks to the super handy brush in the box you don’t need to be a liner expert to achieve the look. Fluttery lashes is all down to the Max Factor Glamour Extensions 3-in-1 Mascara* giving instant volume whilst coating every last lash.
Finally, it’s another pen style lip product! Had enough of these? Never I tell you! Especially when it comes from Origins in the form of their new KissZing Crayons*. A lipstick/balm hybrid these give a flattering wash of colour thats an ease to apply. 06 Begonia Blush stole the show thanks to it’s berry pink colour that makes a dark lip more wearable. Keeping lips feeling nourished and moisturised throughout the day I would quite happily take home the lot!
