skin resurfacers

Bet ya thought I forgot about you dear Sunday post! A sneakily late addition thanks to the haste of not pressing that magical schedule button whilst deep in the midst of fake tanning and hair primping last night. Slaps wrist. Saturday plans beckoned so instead I bring you todays post albeit slightly delayed from the comfort of dressing gown with Glee playing in the background (yes I’m the one person left still watching it). Apt considering my skin needs a bit of TLC following a night full of makeup, todays Sunday Share is all about my chemical exfoliator picks that help to resurface and boost radiance for lacklustre complexion.

Chemical exfoliators were the big skincare discovery of 2013 and they are still going strong. Whenever my skin is feeling dry or temperamental I like to turn to these to help restore everything to that happy balance. From tonics to pads and the weekly masks this step is a staple in my skincare routine and comprises of some of my all-time favourite products. Most used and loved comes from everybody’s favourite Pixi Glow Tonic. Near only impossible to snap up once Caroline Hirons sung it’s praises, I still use this religiously every morning. Switched up with the Clarins Gentle Exfoliator Brightening Toner for a more sensitive pick, they both keep the skin decongested without aggravating sensitive areas.

Strapped for time? Pickup the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads that come individually soaked with lactic and glycolic acid. Swipe over your face these leave the skin looking brighter whilst helping to get the texture soft and smooth. For masks it’s gotta be REN with my top two being the Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask and Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial. Both work wonders on my tired out skin and boost the life back into the sallow dark areas. I’m on my second bottle of the radiance renewal mask already and find with both you see an instant improvement after one use.
