If someone could tell me where November went that would be fantastic. A whirlwind of days, months and now a year has whizzed by and with that has bought a flurry of new makeup goodness. Alongside present hunting and festive planning I’ve managed to pick myself up a few treats that have quickly become firm favourites. Looks at those dents already in the shadows to prove it ;) Time to get into the good stuff and delve into the last favourites post of the year…dun dun dunn!
Bronze shimmery perfection – is there anything more you need in a shadow? I’ve fallen head over heels for this twinkly shade as it makes the perfect allover lid colour. Creamy in texture and pigmented in payoff you can’t go wrong. I apply a wash of this all over my eyes and pair it with a winged liner for a simple yet effortless everyday look. Coming in at under £6 per shade I may just have to stock up on them all.
Going from a budget shadow love to the opposite end of the spectrum, this hits the higher price bracket but is well worth it in my eyes. NARS new dual intensity release is a range of shades that can be worn straight from the pan or applied with water for a supped up hit of intense colour. Compared to the L’Oreal offering Himalia is a slightly darker bronze shade that works well smoked out in the crease or worn alone. A dream to apply and blend out this has been cracked out on an almost daily occurrence.
Hold the phone I think I have a new all-time favourite lip product. Bold statement coming your way but this colour drama lipstick ticks all the boxes for all the right reasons. Hydrating, smooth application, long-lasting colour with a wide range selection, I don’t have any complaints. Berry Much is a dark wine verging on burgundy colour and although a tad vampy for some, I’ve been rocking this on a daily basis.
I’ve been pretty restrained with the candle purchases in recent months with the main new addition coming in the form of this Shimmering Spice Candle from SpaceNK. Enchased in a charming and twinkling jar with silver shimmer, it fills your room with the scent of Christmas. Spicy cinnamon blended with zesty orange and a hint of vanilla, this gives a unique fragrance that is perfect to light whilst you are decorating your tree.
Are words really needed for this divine palette? Sorry to be flaunting it around again but it’s just too darn good to ignore. Three cheek options, a highlight and a bronzer sitting within a single palette, all with buttery formulations you know and love from NARS. It’s no wonder this has been a hit. Luckily there are still a few available on the SpaceNK website – snap them up now before anyone else can ;)
