Time for a weekly update on how my cold, back ache, migraine self is doing! I feel like I’ve been a walking aliment these last two weeks and today is no different – my cold that set in last weekend decided to progress over the week and got to a point that yesterday I admitted defeat and spent the day in bed. Woe is me! Fingers crossed a weekend of R&R time will knock this virus away and will leave me fighting fit for the five working weeks before Christmas. Can you tell I’m excited ;) There is a lot to do in a short period of time but knowing you have a bit of time off to sit on the sofa, watch Christmas films and eat potatoes, I can’t wait!!

This Week I’ve Been…

Taking arty photos in the mirror – you know when you’ve just been to the hairdressers and you sit taking a billion and one selfies to show off the new do? That was me last Saturday. Yes my hand may look like a giant has possessed it but it’s all in the name of a good hair selfie!

Proud over my green fingers – after sharing how I care for my orchid the other month, a record breaking eight new flowers sprouted up on my plant and have been going strong for the past two weeks. I know, call me Alan Titchmarsh ;)

Planning the Christmas Gift Guide Week –  the plans of Christmas don’t just revolve around the gifts for friends and family, I’m also popping together a few gift guides that will be shared right here on this blog. The final touches are coming together and it may even be a week long feature – oer

Indulging in some delicious Italian food – last weekend me and a few close friends headed over to Gerrards Cross to visit Di Paolo, my friends family Italian restaurant. We were well and truly spoilt and had some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. Look at this desert – food perfection personified!
