Empties: The Skincare Edition

skincare empties

After settling back into a more effective skincare routine, not only are the results apparent in my clearer skin, I’ve also wound up using those blemish blasting beauties down to the very last drop. Although my bank balance is wincing at the through of the repurchases on the horizon, it’s just one of those things that necessary to ensure I’m left with a radiant and glowing complexion. A small price to pay for good looking skin ;)

Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cream – this is one of the most cult moisturisers on the market and ends up on a lot of wish lists when beauty junkies visit the States. The price, even in dollars, is pretty horrific but you can’t deny it is a dream to use and apply. A low maintenance moisturiser I found this to be fuss free as it worked away in the background to ensure that I never had any problems with dry skin. Foundation sat beautifully on top and if it wasn’t so hard to get my mitts on, I would buy again.

Verdict – would repurchase if it wasn’t such a difficult item to come by

Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Miracle Cleanser – over the years I’ve been using this brand, it’s slowly transformed from a niche and unknown species to a new and upcoming Space NK favourite. Their luxurious range of bio-organic formulations has secured this British company as a top notch skincare destination. With their cleanser being one of my favourite products from the range, not only is this my second empty tub,  it also is match made in heaven for blemish prone skin. By soothing and caring for breakouts you can trust in this cream cleanser to work it’s bio-organic wonders and deliver results.

Verdict – will be repurchasing

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil – from first use, I knew it would be love. This soft and smooth oil is what I use to remove my makeup in one quick and easy step, mascara and foundation melts away from the skin leaving it prepped and ready for the second cleanse aka the Aurelia Miracle Cleanser stage. It’s purse friendly price tag only aids to it’s appeal and as the picture shows, I am already well into using my second bottle.

Verdict – already onto the next one!
