Hands up those of you that have tried anything from Japanese cosmetics brand DHC? Many of you may be wondering who this company is however, thanks to their number one selling makeup remover, the Deep Cleansing Oil has put this company on the map in terms of cult UK status. Not only does their cleansing oil reign supreme, they are also Japan’s number one skincare company thanks to a number of awards they have against their name. New onto the scene DHC have launched a range of age-defying lipsticks. With six to choose from it’s time to pucker up and give your lips some overdue TLC. For someone that has been a beauty fanatic for a fair while, age-defying lipsticks are a new one to me. Can a lipstick really provide these types impressive results? It’s time to see!

The said age-defying outcome is achieved in two stages, first up is the Pure Colour Technology – oer ;) Teeny tiny pigments deflect the light to give a plumping effect to the lips, instantly they look fuller and more luscious. Secondly you have the ability for these lipsticks to reduce the appearance of vertical lines. The combination of macadamia nut oil, olive oil and rice bran oil moisturises your lips whilst vitamin A protects and conditions. Sounds good right? Now in terms of their age-defying claims, I am on the fence, however you can’t deny their gorgeous luxe packaging and super buttery formulas that glides onto the lips are a winner. The colours are beaut, photoed above you have OR112 Bold Persimmon which is the deep coral shade. Next up, my personal fav, RS105 First Blush which is a really pretty soft pink colour. The final shade I’ve tried is PK102 Petal Pink which is perfect for the evening or a more sophisticated occasion where you want a slightly darker pink offering.

For £13 and launching on 1st August, keep your eyes pealed on BeautyMART, Selfridges and Fenwick for these to hit the stands.
