As opposed to reshowing you pictures from my trip in Las Vegas, now I’m home I thought I would use todays blog post to do a bit of a recap. You may have thought I would finally shut my trap and stop going on about my holiday (sozzer) but instead I thought I would take this one last opportunity to tell you all about the hits and misses of Sin City.

My Vegas Recap…

Best breakfast – that divine berry waffle treat at Morels Steak House which is by the Plazzo in the Venetian. You can enjoy breakfast outside on their balcony or next door at Lavo offers a brunch on Saturday and Sundays which looks rather impressive and simply delicious.

Best dinner – this one was hard to say but I’d have to go with Tod English’s Olives which is in the Bellagio. If you only go here for the tempura green beans it will be worth it in my book!

Best show – by far I would I have say Cirque du Soleil O which is also within the Bellagio. I have never experienced so many emotions when watching a performance and the grandness of the show is break taking. I now want to see all the Cirque shows that Vegas has to offer!

Place to splurge your money – if you have the funds, go on a helicopter trip. I always saw them as a frivolous expense and honestly never got the appeal…that was until I took a trip myself. The views are incredible and it is an experience you will never forget. Even if it’s just to see the Grand Canyon it is miles better then having to sit through a three hour drive to get there!

Best Sephora the Venetian without a shadow of a doubt! Massive, spacious and filled with natural light so you can actually see what you are doing!

Best shopping mall – Fashion Show Mall that is opposite the Wynn. With a Saks, Nordstorm, Macys and one of my favourite American restaurant chains Maggiano, it is a shopping mecca.

Best hotel – if you are looking for a more relaxed trip to Vegas, don’t mind walking around and exploring what the Strip has to offer, I would say the Vdara is perfect. As it is a non-casino hotel it is quite compared to the rest. You get a sense of calm walking through the doors but you are mere moments away from the hustle and bustle. The pool is smaller compared to other hotels but this means you get more privacy and the daybeds they offer are blooming loverly!

Best cheap excursions – if you are looking to pass some time but don’t want to break the bank, head to the Dolphin and Secret Garden at the Mirage or the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay. They only cost around $16/$18 each and you get to explore some wildlife within the midst of the busy Vegas Strip.

I hope you enjoyed my posts whilst I was away in Vegas – bit of a change from the usual beauty ramblings I post here daily but I enjoyed sharing with you my experience whilst I was exploring this incredible city. Now I’m home be prepared for a heck of a lotta hauls as guys, I have indulged in some serious shopping ;)
