May Favourites

may favourites

A little late on the schedule, today I bring you my bundle of May beauty favourites. The stand out products over the last four weeks, I wanted to keep this post until I got back from holiday as I had a sneaky suspicion I would be picking up a couple of items that would quickly hot foot their way into favourite status. Good job I did as my premonition reigned true! As you can see from this months picks, hair condition has remained paramount and I am still on a mission to achieve soft and silky locks. With a fragrance, base and lip treatment all thrown in for good measure we have quite a round set of goodies to get going with!

Percy & Reed Really Rather Radiant Colour & Shine Shampoo – This little shampoo tester has been sitting in my stash for longer then I would like to admit. Picked up free with a monthly Glamour magazine I’ve finally released this from the back of the cupboard and nearly used the entire bottle up. A nourishing cleanser specifically for coloured hair, this cares for your tresses whilst keeping them glossy and soft. Containing raspberry oil, this is a real treat for your hair that transforms dry and damaged locks.

Phyto 7 Day Cream* – In a bid to ensure the styling products I was using didn’t counteract any nourishment I was giving my hair from it’s wash, this little Phyto cream has become my must have hair pick. Boosting shine, preventing split ends and banishing static, this hydrating cream contains seven pure and natural plant extracts to keep hair looking soft and hydrated. Quickly absorbed into your hair this leaves it looking salon ready in seconds.

Clinique Repairwear Intensive Lip Treatment – The hype with this little lip product reigns true. Picked up whilst away, this has been the only balm that has helped to counteract my dry and chapped lips. A little on the pricey side however you get everything you pay for. Super moisturising and a dream to apply, I can imagine this is going to be an essential for a long time to come.

Philip Kingsley Moisture Balancing Conditioner* – Another hair hero this little mini was snapped up at a recent event and boy does my hair love it. Used in tandem with the Percy & Reed Shampoo, this works best on textured, wavy or fine hair as it injects bundles of moisture without weighing your hair down. It leaves my locks tangle free and stronger which helps to prevent breaks and dreaded flyaways.

Diorskin Nude BB Cream in Fair 002 – A lightweight and flattering base, I picked this up in duty free in a shade that finally matches my skin tone. It was the only base I popped on whilst I was away (which is impressive considering I picked up *cough* four *cough* foundations) as I adore the finish this leaves on my skin. It looks natural yet covers any imperfections without leaving a heavy layer on your skin.

Victoria Secret Pure Daydream Fragrance Mist – My final favourite has to go to this fragrance mist from Victoria Secret. Now the store has made it’s way over the pond, their products are easier to snap up however come with a pretty hefty price tag. Over in the States you can mix and match five items for only $30 so five items I got! My favourite by far is the fragrance mist which is perfect addition if you are heading down the the pool, want to freshen up during the day or just want a light and sweet scent when heading out to dinner.
