Dry Hair Fixers

dry hair fixers

Recently my hair has lost it’s marbles. Alongside my chin, hello break out city, my hair has managed to transform itself from its former sleek and straight maned self to something that can only be described as a frizzy nightmare. My hair is thick, unmanageable, flyways are so frequented I’m surprised my hair hasn’t actually flown away and the kinks I am getting are something rotten. Attempting to solve the issue with hair oils results in flat, lifeless and weighed down hair that looks oh so slightly greasy. To combat the problem I’ve been plying my hair with treatments, masques and every ounce of hydration I can find.

Throughout the stash of products I’ve recently accumulated to aid in my frustration, these three stand out as the best of the bunch. On good hair days I prep damp tresses with the Alterna Caviar CC Cream for Hair 10-in-1 Complete Correction. This packs 10 benefits to not only help boost shine and strength, it also injects your hair with some moisture. This feels super light and  preps my hair for any styling I do next. On the other side of the coin, drastically dry hair calls for the Nanokeratin REINVENT Leave in Conditioner. A product to use with a light hand the smallest amount transforms my hair. Although this is meant to be used instead of a conditioner once you are out the shower, I add this to my normal haircare routine for an added boost of long lasting hydration.

Finally my holy grail hair care find. The Schwarzkoph Gliss Hair Treatment get’s spritzed through my locks whenever I get a chance. Dry hair, damp hair, you name it and I’ll spray it. This removes frizz, calms down thick sections of dry hair and reintroduces my locks to a state of sleek and straight happinesses. Considering this costs around the £3 mark everyone needs to add this to their haircare routine. Yes, the ingredients may not be the most advanced, but they do the job and they do it well.
