I’ve find I go through phases when it comes to beauty. Whether it be hair, skin or nails, I land on a favourite and focus on that until I get distract and something more shiny comes into my line of vision and pulls me away. After neglecting my nails for far too long, recent’y I’ve found myself picking up two new polishes within a handful of weeks and I find myself drifting off during the day and planning the next time I get to spruce up my manicure. My current laqure of choice comes in the form of a Maybelline Super Stay Polish (one of my fav highstreet varnish brands) and this is the shade 635 Surreal.
Thick brush for a quick and easy single application? Check. Fast drying colour? Double check. Long lasting formula with minimal chips? Tripple check. As you can see, every box really is ticked, the only area it lacks is when it comes to shade selection. Luckily Surreal is a gorgeous blue toned purple that gives a depth of colour whilst still being a wearable Spring shade. It’s quite a unique selection and doesn’t match any of my current pastel choices. As the seasons transition I think this colour is lovely and looks great day to day or when worn for a special occasion.
