There is a new lipstick loving duo that have been gracing my lips recently and injecting a bit of Spring colour into my daily makeup routine. A moisturising combination that no only keeps my lips in tip top condition, they also give a lovely soft pink kiss of colour that lasts pretty well throughout the day. The Tarte Lipstick is super hydrating and glides onto the lips in a single application. It has a ever so slightly minty taste and I find the shade is a really flattering soft pink. It lasts well on the lips without needing a lip pencil and it also comes in the cutest packaging I think I’ve ever seen for a lipstick. The Maybelline offering is more natural when worn alone. The colour payoff is more subtle yet it gives a gorgeous shine that isn’t sticky or tacky. When paired with the Tarte Lipstick the beauties combine to give a gorgeous lip offering.
