An Ode to Sleek

Sleek Makeup*

Continuing with the budget theme from yesterday I thought that today I would share some love in the makeup department for a tip top ‘drugstore’ brand. Fallen off the radar in recent months, if you cast your mind back the buzz word when it came to highstreet makeup was Sleek. Comprising of their pretty fantastic eyeshadow palettes and wide range of lipstick options, it’s not surprising that this brand got a whole lotta love. One of their most classic and well loved items is the I-Divine Palette, which now comes in an impressive 17 options. All costing £7.99 each there is a collection to suit any person or occasion. My all time favourite is the Storm Palette. A smokey gals best friend this is still one of the core palettes I reach for when I am popping on some shadow for a night out. With a range of neutral shades and a few pops of colour, the pigmented pans are hard to go wrong by.

The brand them amps up the glitz and shimmer stakes when it comes to their face products. Soft hands are vital here as it can be rather easy to go OTT. Their Face Form gives you contour, highlight and blush all in one and comes in four different colour options to suit your shade and skin tone. Perfect for those of you that like to travel or need to touch up your makeup on the go. A final favourite is their Pout Polish which is lip conditioning lip balm that not only nourishes, it also leaves a subtle colour to the lips. Bare Minimum 963 is always in my makeup bag and its barley their colour gives a natural hue to your lips. With their budget pricing and wide product selection, it’s hard to go wrong with this fab hughstreet brand.
