Trish McEvoy Beauty Booster Tinted Moisturiser in 02 – £58*

Well hello most expensive product I have ever used as a base on my face. Throughout the years I have tried my fair share of bases, whether they be a bargain beauty or something that finds itself higher up the price point towards the luxury level, I’ve tried a multitude of offerings when it comes to attempting to achieve flawless looking skin. This one however tops the post for being the most expensive, oh yes it even has a higher costing then the illusive Chantecaille Just Skin Tinted Moisturiser which has risen in price to a whopping £57. This cost breaking product comes for American brand Trish McEvoy and is their Beauty Booster Tinted Moisturiser with SPF 20. Available in a generous (I jest) three shades, I have shade two which is slap bang in the middle. Marketed as an advanced treatment infused with hayluronic acid, antioxidants and a mini flat down payment, this claims to work wonders but does the price justify what’s inside?

Now although I can’t ever see myself forking out the £58 price tag for this glorified tinted moisturiser, I have to say I blooming love it. Expected this was not however you just can’t argue with the great base that it is. From something that applies like a runny moisturiser, this feels super light on the skin and blends a dream whilst providing brilliant coverage for a product that is so lightweight. Redness, coloration and blemishes are gone with a single layer yet your skin is left looking dewy and as if you don’t even have any foundation on. For something that is so expensive it could do a lot better around your eyebrows, hello cling attack, however that, and the price, are the only complaints you will find from me here. This is the most illuminating base I have ever used and have fallen for it’s highlighted ways. I never thought I would utter those words!
