If you have pursued your local newsagents in the last couple of days you may have spied something rather special in the magazine aisle. Alongside the first YouTuber making the cover of a national magazine, Elle Magazine have launch a brand new product with their April issue. Not just your standard freebie, for the first time ever the product included with the monthly mag marks the release of the item into the beauty market. Not available in stores until the 15th March, the only way you are able to get your hands on this miracle prime and prepping hair balm from hair gurus Percy & Reed, is to snap up the latest issue of Elle Magazine. This is the first time a brand has teamed up with a magazine house to launch their product and whether this be a tactic to try and boost sales of demonising print magazine, I really like the marketing angle. A brand new beauty item for the price of your monthly mag? Yes please!

Wonder Balm is marketed as the ‘cream de la cream’. A leave-in primer for your tresses, this works with any style or hair type to help enhance your styling products and give you more control. Used on damp towel dried hair this balm will increase the duration in which your style will hold in place. An innovative formula that adds gentle hold, control and definition to your styling products, this makes your hair the best it can be. On first impressions I am really impressed by this balm. I have been using hair primers and CC creams for a while and find that they really help to keep my hair in shape for longer. Wonder Balm seals the cuticle to give your hair the perfect base, by adding gloss and reducing frizz it’s a thumbs up in my books. For the first ever launch on the cover of a magazine, already I want more!
