This time last year the only foundation you would have seen on my face was this beauty from Origins. It ticked all the right boxes for me and I loved it so dearly that within the Winter season I pretty much got through the entire bottle. As with all beauty items new releases popped up and snagged my attention away, it’s not that I ever stopped liking this Origins Plantscription Foundation, I just fell into a new routine with tinted moisturisers and BB creams. Back to the cupboard it fell until a much needed clean out occurred and up it sprung from the darkness. After first application I was reminded of all the great features of this foundation. It feels lightweight and moisturising on the skin yet manages to pack a decent amount of coverage that still looks dewy and natural. It holds up throughout a day at work and doesn’t rub away or cling to any dry patches. With the added benefit of SPF 15 you can easily see why it tickets all my foundation box requirements.
Although I seem to gravitate towards this foundation in the cooler seasons it’s still a great match for summer. The coverage can be adjusted depending on the tools you use for application. With my RT blending brush I can easily achieve a medium base that looks natural whilst hiding any pesky areas of dull skin or blemishes. It doesn’t cost the earth and I’ve found this to be one of the most fool proof foundations I own. At the moment I have three foundations sitting in the empty pile that need to be repurchased and this is one of them on the list that I am going to keep going strong in my beauty stash. With an impressive 12 shades to pick from, finding your perfect match is easier then ever. The price point isn’t the most friendly but considering you don’t need a large amount and this bottle will see you through the seasons you won’t have to rush out and restock after a handful of weeks have passed. As soon as you try this beaut on your skin you will understand the wonders it holds!
