Nicky Clarke Smooth and Shine Hot Air Styler – £34.99*

I’ve had my eye on these hair stylers for a while – a quick and easy way to achieve an at home blow dry whilst helping to smooth out your hair and prevent frizz. Sounds simple right? Complete with two different sized brushes depending on the level of volume desired, towel dry your hair or part dry it until it’s damp, then pick up the Nicky Clarke Smooth and Shine Hot Air Styler to create salon perfect tresses. With an ionic conditioning feature this helps to make your hair look more shiny and ensures that it isn’t left a frizzy mess once dry. This styling device is simple enough to use, section off your hair and work the brush through the length to dry and volumise all at the same time. Work in either large or small sections depending on your hair type and how you want your hair to look at the end. No masters certificate required over here!

For a person whose greatest styling feat is curls and kink removals early in the morning (cheers bed head) I am not the greatest when it comes to creating an at home blow dry nor am I fluent in electrical hair tools. I am rather haphazard to say the least and get bored five minutes in or more then likely, my arm will get tired. As my hair is naturally straight I find using something like this Hot Air Styler more time consuming. On a day to day basis the most I do is rough dry my hair and brush it, anything else is a Brucey Bonus. That being said, for a special occasion or for those movements when I must have voluminous roots, this is perfection. I don’t need to master a hairdryer and brush all at the same time as this does the job for me. Compared to the rotating devices this styler is static but I prefer that as I find I have more control. For sleek and smooth tresses with lift at the roots that looks like it was created in a salon, all you need is this nifty little tool.

PS – this is also incredible on a bad hair day. With just a few sections of problematic hair and poof – bad hair be gone!
