Getting Colourful

As you may have seen in my latest ‘Super Saturday’ post or spied if you follow me on Instagram (@agirlandabeautyblog) I have taken the colour game one step further and upped the anti when it comes to the tips of my hair. I started with pink dip dye and now I’ve only gone and got a purple/pink ombré which I think looks utterly gorgeous if I do say so myself ;) I went back to my trusty and incredibly skilled stylist Tilly at the Headmasters East Sheen Branch and put the fear of life in her with my request of a colourful dipped ombré. Headmasters are a brand that are known for their stylish blow-dries and high quality cuts however they may not be your first port of call when it comes to experimenting with colour. Luckily for me Tilly is willing to put her crazy skills to the test and every time she seems to make it more perfect then I ever thought possible.

As I mentioned in the post when I got the pink dip dye, Tilly is able to mix up the colours herself. Not only does this mean that I get the perfect shade, it also means she is using colour that will hold better and cause less damage. Tilly started off the colour process with some highlights to hide away my roots and then embarked with the purple dye at the very tips of my hair which she then painted into sections of pink. To ensure the colour looked seamless Tilly added dye to parts of my hair free hand so everything blended together. I really love the final colour and how beautifully the two shades blend together. I now never want to wash my hair for fear of it fading away and may now be hooked on crazy colours forever more!
