Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist – £16.50*

Since incorporating an exfoliating toner into my daily routine I have also started embracing the World of hydrating toners. For use afterwards, these toners help to prep the skin ready for moisturise whilst balancing out the exfoliation. I have already put a few to the test as you will see in my Smart Toners post here but I wanted to spend today delving a little deeper into the one that has quickly jumped it’s way to the top spot on my favs list.

The toner in question is the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist. Containing rose, lactic acid (which aids in improving your skins texture whilst hydrating) and even marshmallow, you know your skin is going to be kept smooth and supple throughout the day. A 50ml bottle costs a very reasonable £16.50 and the mist is housed in a lovely glass bottle that looks the part on any skincare shelf. Since using this balancing mist I’ve found my skin is able to retain moisture better throughout the day. Without making me greasy any dry patches are kept at bay and the rose and marshmallow help to sooth areas of redness or inflammation.

For an everyday hydrating toner this one wins it for me. I don’t find the rose scent to be too overpowering yet it helps to waken my skin (and myself) up on a groggy morning. On days when my skin needs a bit more TLC I opt for my Caudalie Beauty Elixir however this toner has been the perfect addition to my skincare routine.
