Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Blissful

Oh Tarte blushers you are truly something beautiful. I’ve raved on and on about my love for their shade Tipsy until I was blue in the face, but you can’t blame me as it truly is gorgeous. It quickly pipped it’s way up to my top spot of blushers and over a year on I have hit pan and debated getting a backup. Why didn’t I make such a purchase I hear you ask? Well because I got distracted! Oh yes distracted by another shade – I know, shocker.

The shade in question is the one that today’s post is dedicated to, Blissful. Whereas Tipsy is a coral shade, Blissful is a warm peach (and currently out of stock on the Sephora website which just goes to show how popular it is). Don’t get me wrong I am still head of heels for my first love Tipsy, but sometimes you yearn for a softer shade that doesn’t pack quite so much of a punch. Tipsy can look quite bright on the cheeks and the pigmentation can often be too much, Blissful however does not have this problem, instead the colour is build-able allowing you to achieve either a soft kiss of colour or more intense payoff.

You still get the great Tarte formula, long lasting colour that doesn’t look chalky or ashy on the cheeks, but Blissful gives you a more wearable daytime option. I love the flush it adds and have even layered it up with my Laura Mercier Blushers to add a bit of depth. My only pet peeve is that Tarte can only be found across the pound, time to all start signing a petition I think!
