NARS Creamy Concealer in Custard – £21

Am I committing beauty lover massacre by talking about a concealer that isn’t the infamous Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer? Hold the phone because I am! Don’t get me wrong I, like everyone else in the World, am a fan of the Collection offering but after a while I tired of the messy packaging and leaky product. My spider senses were tingling and I wanted to see what else was available, and as luck should have it this recent release from NARS hit the shelves. Perfect timing or what :)

First things first this is not a cheap option, it actually breaks my little heart looking at the cost as I have fallen head over heels for it and am dreading the day it runs out (please don’t be anytime soon!) Although I feel this is a little overpriced you can’t argue with the fact that it does the job, and does it well. I find that it provides great coverage without drying out my skin,  masks both blemishes and under eye circles, and once blended it gives a flawless finish that is undetectable. In comparison to the Lasting Perfection Concealer I find this to be less drying and lighter on my skin. It also comes in a more impressive range of 10 shades of which I opted for the medium colour – custard. This is a perfect match to my skin tone and I apply it to my skin directly with the doe foot applicator and blend it in with a Beauty Blender (but more to come on that another day).

NARS do market this concealer as containing multi-action skincare benefits and light diffusing technology, all which I think is a bit of marketing spiel to boost up the price. That aside I have been loving using this concealer and my naff looking Collection pot has fallen to the back of the pile.
