REN Glycolactic Skin Renewal Peel Mask
Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator
Liz Earle Brightening Treatment Mask

Nothing makes me smile like new skincare in the mornings. Just as my luck with have it, everything that I use religiously each week decides to run out on me at the same time. Isn’t that always the way?! Just as you pump the last bit out of your favourite mask all your beauty products seem to club together and decide to run out at the same time. Naughty little blighters :P As being without my favourites seems to turn me out in a worrisome rash, it was time to head to the shops and make some much needed repurchases.

My first repurchase was the REN Glycolactic Skin Renewal Peel Mask. Thanks to a sneaky free postage offer on the Space NK website the other week, I promptly popped in an order and squealed with delight when it arrived at my door. This is my second bottle of this mask and although it is a pricey product darn you £30 price tag I haven’t found anything that gives me the same results. The mask itself can only be described as an orange goop that I slather onto my face. It is a fruit-acid mask that works similar to the Alpha H Liquid Gold to chemically exfoliate the skin. Sounds dangerous but this doesn’t make my skin tingle or leave it red. Instead it just works away to remove any dead skin cells whilst also blasting any areas of congestion or blackheads. I either use this mask alone or in conjunction with a couple others if I fancy a triple threat kinda evening! This mask makes my skin look brighter and healthier and is one of my favourites to use.

My next repurchases were my Liz Earle essentials. I’ve spoken about these two masks before in the past as I use them religiously each week. The Gentle Face Exfoliator is hands down my favourite exfoliator. It isn’t too harsh on my skin yet really cleans deep down and removes any dead skin cells and breaks up any areas on congestion. I use this every Friday night to scrub away the week of work. The Brightening Treatment Mask is then used every Sunday evening to remove any dullness in my skin thanks to a busy weekend. It leaves my skin brighter and refreshed ready for a new week and also gives my skin a touch of TLC on a Sunday evening. These two products will always be in my skincare routine and are staples I always go back to.
