March Favourites

Guess whose back, back again. Yep I’m back – tell your friends ;) After what feels like a lifetime away I am back and raring to go. This is the first time I have taken a complete break from blogging and switched off. There was no reading blog posts, no planning posts, nothing! I went cold turkey and instead sped off to Cardiff for fun filled weekend with my friends. Sometimes you just need to get away and when you blog 6 times a week it can be hard to step back. However now I am refreshed, my batteries are recharged and I have lots of new and exciting posts to bring to you. First up – favourites!

Nip & Fab CC Eye Fix* – This is still my go to under-eye highlighter/concealer and even though I have been using it for a couple of months, each application still impresses me at how well this little pen highlights my dark under-eye circles. I call it a highlighter/concealer as it doesn’t a brilliant job at both and helps my eyes to look lifted and brighter.

Revlon Lip Butter in 047 Pink Lemonade – Oh I just love this stuff! As you can see I have already made quite the dent on this lip butter as I just can’t stop wearing it. It is the perfect everyday pink shade and even when I was away in Cardiff this is pretty much all that graced my lips throughout the day and even made its way into the nighttime.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir – I have finally caved and bought the large size bottle of this beauty water. I have now gone through about 4 of the mini bottles so when the deal popped up on Buyapowa I just knew I had to snap it up. Whether it be used as a toner, daily spritz or to help out with blemishes, this is a winner in my books.

Aurelia Revitalise and Glow Serum* & Cell Repair Night Oil* – These two little pots have been working wonder on my skin the past month. I’ve never really been a girl for serums and oils as I don’t usually notice the biggest difference from them so tend to end up forgetting to use them. These however are sitting at the forefront of my skincare basket and the combination of the two have helped my skin to look more radiant, have kept blemishes at bay and also helped out with any scaring on my skin.

Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover – If it was possible to be in love with an eye makeup remover it would be this one. This magical mixture of oil and water removes all traces of eye makeup in one swift movement. I have been reaching for this every night to remove my mascara and eyeshadow and whether it be an eye liner look or a heavy smokey eye, this removes it quickly and easily. My only gripe – how quickly I am using it up!

Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator – This is a recent repurchase and a staple in my skincare routine. Every Friday this exfoliator is pulled out and use to scrub away the weeks grime and dirt. I have tried a couple of different exfoliators and this is by far my favourite as it doesn’t leave my skin red yet still works great at exfoliating away at my skin.

Macadamia Healing Oil Therapy – Throughout March my hair has decided to become a dry mess. For some reason the day after washing my hair, my tresses decide to become dry and hard to manage. To combat this I’ve started popping up half a pump of Macadamia Oil each night. This works overnight to calm down the dryness and means I awaken to softer and more manageable hair.

Chanel Poudre Signée De Chanel Illuminating Powder – I promise one of these favourites I will stop including this powder but at the moment it’s too hard not to as it is just so darn beautiful!
