Nip + Fab CC Eye Fix* | Bobbi Brown Corrector | ByTerry Touch-Expert Advanced Concealer | Perricone MD No Concealer Concealer*

If you are a long time reader of my blog you will know that I have major issues when it comes to the area underneath my eyes. I wouldn’t say I have bags per say but I do have quite deep set under eye circles that I’ve been told is hereditary boo! Whenever I tell makeup artists on counters they always laugh and say they are hardly noticeable, but it’s one of those things that no matter how much concealer I slap on I can always seem to spot them. For ages I would flit between a number of different concealers to fight the problem but nothing did the trick like the above four picks. Rain or shine, sleep or minimal sleep these helps to banish the darkness and help me to look more awake and alive.

The oldest addition is the Bobbi Brown Corrector – this was my holy grail concealer as it doesn’t a brilliant job of correcting any darkness. I say correcting as it’s colour helps to counteract the shadows as opposed to just covering them up. When I first purchased this it was Winter time but as soon as Summer rolled around the thick consistency would sit on my skin and look a little heavy. I went on the hunt for a new lighter counterpart and this is where the ByTerry Concealer comes in.

I initially went into Space.NK to get the ByTerry Touche Veloutee but none of the three colour options were a good match and I found that it didn’t give me the coverage I was looking for. The shop assistant suggested the Touch-Expert Advanced and from it’s six shade options I was able to find an exact match. The pen style packaging in similar to the YSL Touche Eclat (which does nothing for my bags!) and the colour really evens out the skintone under my eyes without sitting heavy on the skin.

The most scientific pick is thanks to Perricone. Their No Concealer Concealer is anti-aging and contains SPF 35. This not only works as a concealer but it also treats the skin so that the discolouration is lessened over time. You only need the smallest amount so even though the price tag sits pretty high this pot will last you a fair while. This concealer melts into the skin and leaves the area looking lightened and brightened.

The newest addition to my concealer winners is the Nip + Fab CC Eye Fix. This concealer surprised me the most as when I first saw it I thought it would be pretty pants. This is a very highlighting colour and really creates a flawless finish under the eyes. I find this to be slightly more illuminating then the ByTerry version which makes it great for summer. This is also the cheapest option so considering it does such a great job makes this a real winner for me.

Do you have any different picks when it comes to under eye concealers? What are your favourites?
