Chanel Poudre Signée De Chanel Illuminating Powder – £46.00

I don’t think there are enough words in the English dictionary to describe how beautiful this highlighter is. From the soft cushioned protective cover to the super detail embossed logo in the product itself, this highlighter is just sublime. Part of the Chanel Spring 2013 Collection (which also contains far too many beautiful lipsticks and nail varnishes) a single swatch will have you hooked. Highlighters have always been those products that I slightly indulge in. I don’t always reach for them daily but there is something about their shimmering beauty that has me spending the big bucks. This happened with the Diorskin Highlighter in Amber Diamond and now again with Chanel. The only problem with this is that I find it too beautiful to use! No one wants to make a dent in that elegant embossing.

This is a sheer highlighting power that adds glow and shimmer to the skin. It is a soft light pink colour that can work on a number of skin tones and it creates a beautiful golden reflection. As you can see in the above picture you can pack the colour on depending how much of a glitter finish you want. This power is really easy to work with and I have been applying it with my finger across my cheekbones and down the center of my nose and then blending it out with a fluffy brush. I bought this powder from Boots in store, some counters still have it in stock so if you spot one snap it up pronto!
