Nars Laguna – £26.00

This is one of those posts that in a way is not needed. Everyone knows that Nars Laguna is the bronzer but as part of my ‘Blast From The Past’ series this fits the bill perfectly and is a winner every time. I picked this up when I was in New York in February last year and one year on it is still standing up in fairly good shape. Apparently as soon as you hit pan on Nars powders they have a tendency to shatter, but luckily this hasn’t happened to me yet (and fingers crossed it doesn’t!) Before picking up this bronzer I was using the Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronze Universel which I love for Summer but doesn’t quite cut it for those cooler Winter months. Laguna is a gorgeous warm toned bronzer that is perfect for contouring. Although the above photo doesn’t do it justice (cloudy day and swollen tonsils does not make for the best photo!) but this really warms up my face whilst giving me the illusion that I have some sort of cheek bones!

I wear this bronzer through the contours of my face, on my temples and under my neck – you know that 3 shape that pretty much every beauty YouTuber talks about ;) This can pack quite a strong colour so blending is your best friend when using this. I apply it with my Real Techniques Blush Brush (my fav brush for contouring) and it works a treat. If I am looking for a more subtle colour on my skin then I turn to the Liz Earle Natural Glow Bronzer, but for days where I might be sporting a bit of a tan or want to look that bit more contoured, this is the one for me!

Also who doesn’t love the big mirrors that come in these?! Perfect for touch ups on the go!
