Look at me – showing my face on the blog again, whatever is the world coming to?! I’m trying get over my fear of the old self photie to show off some makeup looks I have been wearing recently. It also gives me a chance to shout out some star products that I have been loving. (Also next time I will remember to take a picture of the products as well – well I hope!) This is a look I wore quite a lot last week as I wanted to incorporate some colour on the lips and my nails. To give me the pink lip I used my Revlon Lip Butter in 090 Sweet Tart (review here) and on my nails is Essie’s Turquoise & Caicos (swatches here).
Although this look could have easily stopped here the eyeshadow obsessive within wanted that touch more! To give me a hint of colour and definition on my eyes, but without looking overboard, I used MAC’s All That Glitters, Satin Taupe and Twinks. These three put together are one of my favourite eyeshadow combos as it gives that perfect hint of detail to my eyes whilst also looking soft and subtle. Perfect for work! Satin Taupe is a great crease colour but paired with Twinks it gives that extra kick off smokey definition. Thrown in with All That Glitters it helps to keep the eye still looking light and neutral. Finished off with MAC’s Something Special Creamblend Blush (which I have recently fallen back head over heels for) and some mascara – the look is complete!
