Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Colour in Lush Nectarine – £20.50

So this story begins with an ever so dangerous email informing me that I had £5 off on my Space.NK N.dulge card – this means one thing and one thing only – shopping time! I had on my list some skincare bits I wanted to investigate, a tinted moisturiser I wanted to peruse and a new brand I wanted to find out more about, however on the day, blusher came over me! I was getting a bit uninspired by my current blusher choices and the fact that a new one hadn’t graced my collection since about May had me itching for a new one. I know I didn’t ‘need’ a new one and I love the blushers I currently own, but the fact I could pick up one with a handy £5 off made all my logic fly out of the window. Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Colours are b-e-a-utiful and I knew I had to get my mitts on another one. Lush Nectarine is much hyped, and clearly so, as it is a divine peachy coral colour that I couldn’t say no to.

As you can see on the above photo the colour isn’t too intense on the cheeks. It gives a subtle wash over colour that can easily be built up if you’re feeling a bit bolder. I have paired this blush with a slight purple liner on the lid to inject a bit of colour into an ordinarily dull Thursday and a light pink on the lips finished the look off a treat! As sad as it sounds whenever I pick up a new beauty bit I always get excited in the morning to pop it on! Something about a new blush makes getting ready in the morning that bit better =)
