Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light Bisque – £18.00

I bought this corrector back for the first time in New York around this time last year (wow I can’t believe that is already a year ago!) I went into Sephora on Union Square, walked around in awe at all the rows and rows of cosmetics and unreachable US brands from the UK and flagged down a sales assistant. The problem at hand were my bags. No not my shopping bags sadly but instead my under eye bags. Although now I’ve come to terms with the fact that actually these said bags are not quite as bad as I make them out to be and a lot of it is genetics, is still doesn’t deter my from the hunt of the best under eye product! I had tried out numerous different potions, concealers, highlighters etc and they would all work, but only for a while. I have some eye creams that save me on a daily basis (namely the Liz Earle Dairly Eye Repiar and Origins GinZing Cream) but that day I wanted more.

The sales assistant sat me down and grabbed the Bobbi Brown Corrector and matched me to the colour Light Bisque. This teamed with the bareMinerals Well Rested Powder (brilliant but powerful stuff!) left my under eyes looking bright, light and not a deep set socket to be seen! In my New York happiness I snapped them both up and pretty much haven’t looked back a day since. The Bobbi Brown Corrector I only use specifically under my eyes and I then reach for my beloved Collection 2000 Concealer for any other areas. Me and the corrector were going strong until summer came along. The thicker consistency didn’t sit well on my skin so I then went on the hunt for a new, lighter version and got the ByTerry Touch-Expert Advanced Concealer (full review here). Now Winter is calling and I am feeling more tired and drained, the call for the slightly thicker coverage from Bobbi Brown is back in order! Even teamed with that super strength bareMineral powder when I really feeling the calling for bed! Since first getting this corrector I am already on my second one and I can see after this Winter a third purchase needing to be made!

What are your favourite concealers or under eye correctors? What do you turn to to make you look bright eyed in the morning?
