Birthday Hauling

Last Friday was my birthday and I turned another year older and hopefully another year wiser! I was a very lucky girl and received some utterly amazing presents! This isn’t me bragging about my presents, people have asked to see what I got and sorry if you don’t want to. My main present (which you might have seen if you follow me on Instagram over @Agirlandabeautyblog) was a camera. I already can’t put it down and poor Lola has had to put up with countless photoshoots! I am still getting to grips with it so apologies if my photos are a bit all over the place over the next couple of weeks. I also got the above bits from my mum and dad. My dad surprised me with a Glass Nail File – he must have been watching Anna’s videos like me and knew I wanted one! I don’t know where this is from but it is a really pretty nail file with sleek carry case too.

I got some cute ankle socks from Topshop with lace detail and then some brilliant bathroom bits. After me raving about the Nip + Fab Mango Smoothie when I took it on holiday mum treated me to a full sized version. I seriously can’t get enough of this stuff! To complete the bathroom beauty bonanza I also got the Soap & Glory Scrub ‘Em and Leave ‘Em Body Buff, Soap & Glory Clean, Girls Body Wash and Soap & Glory Foam Call Bath and Shower Wash. I am going to be smelling good for months!

On the day of my birthday mum and I went up to London as she surprised me with tickets to go to the Absolute Ice Bar. Before we headed there I couldn’t resist going to Selfridges and having a nosey around the new Beauty Workshop which is literally amazing. There are loads of brilliant brands and products that previously have been hard to get a hold of. Now you can now find them all in one place! I mainly wanted to go to have a look more into the Aesop brand and I was kindly given two samples of the Chamomile Concentrate Anti-Blemish Mask that I can’t wait to try out. What’s also great about the Beauty Workshop is that it stocks Butter London polishes. I have wanted to pick up a Butter polish for ages and after Lily and Meg raved about Bossy Boots I knew I had to pick one up. I just couldn’t seem to leave the store with only one polish so I also picked up a very seductive nudey brown colour All Hail the Queen.

I also spied at the Beauty Workshop an Ellis Fass counter. Ellis Fass are a brand I have always been fasinated by ever since the Pixiwoos have raved about them over on their beauty channel. I fell in love with a gorgeous bright coral colour and just had to pick it up! But more about that later ;) Thank you again for your lovely birthday comments and I can’t wait to try everything out and share my thoughts on them with you!
