Nuxe Micellar Cleansing Water with Roses and Green Tea

Ladies and gentlemen this is a breaking news announcement. I have a brand new favourite makeup remover! I am still obsessed with micellar waters (as lets face it they are just ace and are brilliant at getting the job done) but I have found something that has pipped the Darphin Azahar Cleansing Micellar Water to the post. If you remember in my review here I raved about the Darphin cleansing water and didn’t think there would be anything better. I bought a bottle of the Bioderma to give it a try as the world and his dog seemed to be raving about it but I just couldn’t get on with it. I never felt like my face was very clean after using it and there was nothing refreshing about it. Whilst on holiday in Italy I casually popped in to every Pharmacy I walked past (much to the amusement of my mum) and I spied this product on one of the shelves. The Nuxe Micellar Cleansing Water with Roses and Green Tea. I got the 200ml bottle which cost 16 Euros and looking for it in the UK I found it funnily enough on the Marks and Spencers website for £15. A whole £8 cheaper then it’s Darphin sister!

First thing I love about this product is the scent. It smells really fresh, light and clean. Clean is an odd word to use to describe how something smells but it really does! It just smells like it’s going to leave your skin spotless and that is exactly what it does. Secondly I love that whilst it still feels like water on your skin  it removes every inch of makeup. It is soft and suitable for sensitive skin and eyes and after using it my skin felt fresh, clean and there was no dryness or tightness in sight. The problem I found with the Bioderma cleansing water is that it almost felt as if there was a bit of a film left on my skin or as if all the makeup hadn’t fully gone. With the Nuxe water I am sure it’s all gone as not only is my face clean, the cotton wool pad is covered! I have been using the Nuxe water since I bought it on holiday and it hasn’t made my skin break out or caused any naughty skin problems. I found it cooling to use in the heat and I also looked forward to taking my makeup off at night! It’s safe to safe I love this stuff and I can’t rave about it enough. I am already looking at stocking up on it!
