If you haven’t already heard, the skincare favourites Liz Earle have recently released a Colour Collection and I reviewed a Sheer Lip Gloss* and Light Reflecting Concealer* a couple of months ago which you can read all about here. Since then I’ve had the chance to try out a couple of other pieces from the collection and I have been loving them! I quite like the packaging of everything and how the Liz Earle logo is almost embossed into the products themselves. There is a handy mirror in the top of the compacts as well making them perfect to take on the go.

The first item I tried is the Healthy Glow Powder Blush* in Peony 07 which you can pick up from Liz Earle for £16.50. The first thing I noticed about this blusher is how pigmented it is! You really only need to lightly dab your brush into the product to still get intense colour on your cheeks. Although I do like my products to a strong colour payoff I find that with a blush this can cause you to easily be heavy handed and end up with a clown face! They do have some lighter colours such as Camellia 01 that I am interested in trying out and seeing what the colour payoff is like.

The second item that I tried is the Natural Glow Bronzer* which seems to come in one colour and you can pick up for £19.50. This bronzer has quickly become a firm favourite and has already appeared in a favourites post which you can find here. What’s great about this bronzer is that it is pretty matte, well I haven’t noticed any sparkle in it! This makes it the perfect pick for contouring or if you just want to add some colour all over your face. This product arrived near to when I was going away and planning what makeup to take with me. My Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronze Universel is too big to take to travel and my beloved Nars Laguna Bronzer has hit pan and I was worried about taking it away and the contents shattering. Therefore the Natural Glow Bronzer came along with me! As you can see from the above swatches the colour isn’t the darkest (especially when you look at it compared to the Nars Laguna swatch in the bottom right photo) but even with a tan it provided warmth to my face and was a great contour.

Have you tried anything from the Liz Earle Colour Collection? What are your favourite bits?
