Liz Earle Summer Essentials

Liz Earle Summer Essentials

Liz Earle are a brand that once upon a time I had never used or even heard of! However, in the last few years some of their products have become part of my staple items. They have a great range of skincare items that changed my skin around and for over a year I was a devoted user of their Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser until I got the typical beauty obsessed itch and wanted to try something different. With the warmer days of summer (well odd week here and there when we are lucky!) I have been reaching for my Liz Earle essentials to get me through the summer sun.

First up is the Instant Boost Skin Tonic* in a spritzer bottle. I love this in the summer as I keep the bottle in the fridge and use the spray to refresh my face throughout the day. Is it so cooling and is great at revitalising my skin and re-awaking it after being out in the sun. Paired with the Foot Spritzer* both of these products keep you from over heating and feeling too hot during the summer. The Foot Spritzer also smells divine as it contains peppermint and rosemary to leave your feet smelling sweet.

To stop your eyes from getting puffy I used the Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion* to calm down any redness or swelling. Either in the morning to help me wake up for the day ahead or soaked on a cotton wool pad and rested onto my eyes this provides a great pampering treatment or quick refresher for my eyes. I always worry about my eyes looking puffy or red (especially anything to do with my worry-some bags!) so this is great to keep all of that at bay.

Last but by no means least is the Botanical Aftersun Gel.* Reviewed here this has become a saviour for me! I am a girl that goes out into the sun and burns. Even with a great SPF on the red tinge or my skin feeling hot nearly always happens. I have to be very careful in the sun and use a cooling and moisturising aftersun afterwards helps to keep my skin in check. This aftersun is one of the most cooling ones I have tried and I find it helps to give instant relief on any red bits. Even just to cool my skin down if it’s feeling a bit hot and dry this does the trick!

All these summer essentials can be picked up from Liz Earle for the following prices:

Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion – £10.25
Foot Spritzer – £7.75
Instant Boost Skin Tonic – £13.00
Botanical Aftersun Gel – £13.50

I love Liz Earle too! I have the tonic and eye lotion and they are both must haves for me. I don’t know what I did before I got them. I also have the aftersun lotion which was really cooling last time I got burnt, but I haven’t used it much as I burn really bad so try my best to layer on the suncream. I haven’t tried the foot spritzer, but if it’s anything like the tonic then I would probably love it – will have to check that one out next time I make an order.
