Lancome La Vie Est Belle Perfume

Lancome have recently launched a new perfume called La Vie Est Belle which is a French expression meaning that life is beautiful. How sweet! It is an eau de parfum (so packs a bit more punch) that offers a unique signature scent that has been created for Lancome by three of France’s leading perfumers. I really like the packaging of this bottle and the shape of it. The box personally I think looks a bit naff (I’ve just never been the biggest fan of white especially with a gold shimmer boarder!) but the bottle is all clear glass and pretty elegant. You can see the fragrance housed inside the bottle and it is finished off with a little bow at the top and a square lid.Initially I thought the fragrance would be too heavy for me as I don’t  naturally gravitate towards Lancome fragrances. This perfume contains jasmin, orange blossom and patchouli essence which may seem like a floral overload but the unique blend of these scents creates a fragrance that lasts well on the skin whilst not being too overpowering. Although the fragrance is quite strong I really like it and it develops over time on the skin into a something a bit sweeter. I have been wearing this every day since getting it and I don’t tired of the scent. I like the way other people are able to pick up on it without it being overbearing in a room. This perfume is available exclusively to buy in Selfridges stores and online from the 2nd August and a bottle can be picked up from £39 which I think isn’t too bad for a fairly high end perfume.

Also I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your kind words about my hair post yesterday! So glad you all like the colour – still can’t believe I went for the change but I am so glad that I have =)
