Move aside stand run of the mill cleansers there is a new love in my life! Welcome aboard REN Clearcalm3 Anti-Blemish Clay Cleanser!* I have been using this clay cleanser for a good few weeks now and I have fallen, skipped, hopped and jumped into love with it. Specially formulated for acne and blemish prone skin this cleanser works at reducing the appearance of breakouts and helps to leave your skin clearer and calmer. Although my skin has reduced the amount of teenage tendencies I still have a couple of pesky areas that are prone to break outs. My once beloved Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser* doesn’t seem to be doing enough to combat these problem areas anymore so I have been on the hunt for a new cleanser to fill the void.

REN are a brand I am a lot more aware of nowadays and have heard an abundance of good things about. I have purchased a mask from them before which Kate from Gh0stparties raved about and this cleanser was recommended to me by Caroline Beauty Mouth in one of her skincare clinics. What I like about REN is the science behind the brand. They use the latest hi-tech bio actives to create products that suit a skin need. For example this Clearcalm3 range is a range of products that combat the main causes of breakouts; excess sebum, a build up of nasty dead skin cells and bacteria that can cause blemishes.

This cleanser is quite thick and all you need is one pump massaged over your dry face. My only slight gripe about it is the smell as it isn’t exactly roses and buttercups but I can easily put that aside considering it does the trick. Since using this my skin has been looking clearer, brighter and happier and I look forward to cleansing my skin each night! What’s also great is that this cleanser costs a reasonable £18 for 150ml and can be bought directly from REN or picked up in Space.NK. This has fitted in perfectly to my current skincare routine and my skin has been thanking me every since!
What is your favourite cleanser at the moment? Have you tried any REN products before?
